Who I am
My name is Hattie. I originally trained as a Clinical Aromatherapist and gained the IFPA Accredited Diploma in Aromatherapy and Essential Oil Science at Neal’s Yard (Natural Remedies) Ltd. I enhanced my practice by studying Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Reflexology. My aroma-interests are many and varied: writing articles on botanic gardens; leading plant walks at Kew Gardens; complementary therapies and cancer care; aromatherapeutic facials'; aromatherapy and menopause; using essential oils to enhance wellbeing in a wide range of settings including corporate work and post event massage; compassion-lead practices.
I am also Sports Massage Therapist and trained at St Mary’s University, one of London’s top performing sports facilities, where I achieved ITEC Level 4 Sports Massage. I have a special interest in advanced massage techniques such as Myofascial Release, Connective Tissue Release, Muscle Energy Techniques & Soft Tissue Release as well as Injury Assessment.
I am a lecturer on VCTC Aromatherapy at the London School of Massage and previously lectured in Reflexology on ITEC Level 3 Complementary Therapy Diploma at City Lit. I hold Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RCF). I am a qualified teacher.
I am passionate about giving back to my community and support charity events e.g. London Marathon and Royal Parks half Marathon. I also give back to my community by volunteering at the UCLH Staff Spa.
I offer private treatments and undertake corporate work, teaching, training, coaching and Staff Spa and Wellbeing Days and Stress Management Training.
